May brings a vibrant shift in seasonal produce, marking the exciting transition into early summer harvests. Peak star ingredients begin to shine, including fresh asparagus and Jersey Royals, while spring greens, tender new-season lamb, and freshly caught seafood all come into their own.

It’s been an exceptionally busy month for us, with a calendar full of private chef bookings and wedding events. Most of our work has been centered around Plymouth, with one beautiful wedding over in Tavistock. Each event has brought something unique, from elegant high tea weddings to bold Texas-themed buffets, relaxed grazing tables, and refined five-course tasting menus.

This time of year, is perfect for letting summer produce gently weave its way onto our menus. We’ve been lucky to work with some outstanding seasonal ingredients, including locally sourced Jersey Royals, crisp summer greens, and vibrant asparagus—all supplied by the fantastic team at Ben’s Farm Shop.

On the seafood side, we’ve featured some stunning fresh wild sea bass, alongside beautifully tender new-season lamb rumps from our trusted supplier, B&N Farm Foods.

We’re incredibly passionate about working with local farms and producers, championing organic, high-quality ingredients that allow us to create dishes that are not only full of flavor but also visually beautiful on the plate.
